Vendredi, j’ai fait une joli découverte : la boutique d’Aléfil et son Cafétricothé, d’Amandine (sur Paris).
L’adorable Izzie Knits m’a gentiment proposé de l’accompagner à cette rencontre entre tricoteuses, autour d’un thé et de douceurs.

Friday, I made a nice discovery: the shop Aléfil (in Paris, France).
The adorable Izzie Knits has kindly offered to come with her to a meeting among knitters at the shop, with tea and sweets.

La boutique vend principalement de la laine de la marque Fonty (marque française, provenant de la Creuse), mais pas que : d’autres marques de laine, du tissu, une librairie et de la mercerie. L’atelier propose également des cours de couture, de tricot et de crochet pour enfants et adultes de tous niveaux.

The shop mainly sells Fonty‘s wool (French label), but not only that: other brands of wool, fabric, a bookstore and haberdashery. The workshop also offers lessons in sewing, knitting and crochet for children and adults of all levels.

Au début j’appréhendais beaucoup cette réunion au vu de mon niveau de tricot. Mais finalement j’ai passé un bon moment avec des tricoteuses très sympas qui n’hésitent pas à faire partager leurs connaissances, dans une boutique toute mignonne avec un grand choix de laine et la propriétaire, Amandine, très accueillante.

At first I was dreading this meeting given my level of knitting. But in the end I had a great time with very nice knitters who are more than willing to share their knowledge, in a very cute shop with a wide range of wool and the owner, Amandine, very welcoming.

Et puis, j’ai craqué sur la Super Tweed de Fonty, en gris ! J’ai été immédiatement séduite par ses couleurs mouchetées et son incroyable douceur.
Je n’ai d’ailleurs pas attendu longtemps avant de commencer un nouveau projet… A suivre !

And then I fell in love with the Super Tweed in gray! I was immediately seduced by its speckled colors and incredible softness.
And it did not take long for me to start a new project … To be continued!
